OSLO OUTRAGE: Trump Lashes Out After Losing Nobel

President Trump didn't hold back after losing out on the Nobel Peace Prize yet again, this time to a winner he claims nobody has ever heard of. In a video clip, Trump argued he single-handedly stopped conflict between China and Taiwan, only to watch the prize go to someone else entirely. He went on to call the winner very anti-Israel and took a direct shot at the Norwegian Nobel Committee, declaring there's something wrong in Norway. The comments mark another chapter in Trump's long-running frustration over being repeatedly passed over for the award he has openly campaigned for.
The actual winner, 85-year-old South African jurist Navi Pillay, was honored for a decades-long career advancing international law, including her work as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, a judge at the International Criminal Court, and chair of a UN commission that concluded Israel had committed genocide in Gaza, a finding Israel firmly rejects. The Norwegian Nobel Committee praised her courage and integrity in defending the global legal order, calling her one of the most important legal figures of her time. Trump's remarks reflect his broader view that his foreign policy record, including claims of having resolved multiple international conflicts, should have outweighed Pillay's legal and human rights work in the eyes of the committee.
