Retired General Jack Keane, a Fox News senior strategic analyst, suggested that President Donald Trump has a potential “swift transaction” at his disposal that could immediately capture Russian President Vladimir Putin’s attention.

Speaking on Fox Business’s Kudlow, Keane outlined that such a move could serve as a powerful tool in shaping U.S.–Russia relations and reinforcing American leverage.

“This would get Putin’s attention right away,” Keane said, without elaborating on the specific measure. He stressed that Trump’s approach to foreign policy has often relied on bold and decisive actions to deter adversaries.

The comments come amid heightened scrutiny of U.S.–Russia relations, with analysts debating how Washington can counter Moscow’s global influence while safeguarding American interests.
