Russian President Vladimir Putin traveled to the Nizhny Novgorod region on Tuesday, September 16, to observe Zapad-2025, a large-scale joint military exercise between Russia and Belarus.
According to Putin, the drills involved around 100,000 military personnel and 10,000 units of equipment stationed in Belarus. The exercise, which concluded with Putinโs remarks, underscored the close military cooperation between Moscow and Minsk as regional tensions continue.
