Trump insisted that Israel is fully on board with the framework, saying "Israel is very happy about it" and praising the country's cooperation throughout the negotiation process, even as an Israeli official's own public statement notably stopped short of an outright endorsement.

Despite the president's optimism, real obstacles remain before the deal can be considered a done one. Hamas has conditioned its cooperation on Israel fulfilling its own withdrawal commitments first, creating what analysts describe as a classic chicken-and-egg standoff, while Israeli officials have voiced open skepticism that Hamas will follow through on genuine disarmament at all. Adding to the uncertainty, a senior administration official confirmed that Iran actively pressured Hamas to reject the framework altogether, though that effort ultimately failed.
