Vice President JD Vance highlighted the Trump administration’s economic agenda during remarks in Pennsylvania, pointing to a $100 billion investment package he said is already delivering tangible benefits for American workers and families across the Keystone State.

“When we talk about the $100 billion of investment in places like Pennsylvania, that means real wage growth for families in the Keystone State,” Vance said. “It means over 60,000 new jobs — that’s what President Trump is delivering. We’re building real opportunity right here in America.”

According to the White House, the investment package announced earlier this month focuses heavily on advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and energy development, sectors the administration has prioritized as part of its broader effort to rebuild domestic industry and reduce reliance on overseas production. Officials say the projects are expected to generate long-term employment while raising wages through high-skill, high-demand jobs.

Vance made the remarks at an event in the Lehigh Valley, where he drew on his upbringing in Ohio to connect with communities that experienced decades of factory closures and job losses due to offshoring. He argued that President Trump’s economic policies represent a clear departure from past approaches that rewarded corporations for moving jobs overseas.

Instead, Vance said, the administration is incentivizing companies to invest in American workers, American factories, and American communities. He emphasized that Pennsylvania’s role in energy production and industrial innovation positions the state to benefit significantly from the administration’s economic strategy.

Supporters of the plan say the investment underscores President Trump’s commitment to restoring U.S. manufacturing strength and delivering measurable results for working families. The administration has framed the initiative as part of a broader push to ensure economic growth translates into higher wages and stable employment, particularly in regions long overlooked by Washington.

As projects begin to break ground and hiring accelerates, the White House says Pennsylvania’s investment surge serves as a model for how targeted federal policy can drive economic renewal and put American workers first.
