Netanyahu Pushes Back on Global ‘Hate’ Narrative in Interview with Nelk Boys

ISRAEL — In a recent appearance on the popular “Full Send” podcast hosted by the Nelk Boys, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the widespread perception that Israel is “hated worldwide,” pushing back against the notion and attributing much of it to misinformation and propaganda.

During the conversation, Netanyahu acknowledged that Israel faces harsh criticism on the global stage, but argued that such sentiments are not as universal as often portrayed.

“It’s not true that everyone hates Israel,” Netanyahu said. He shared an anecdote about a rabbi’s brother in Europe who expressed strong support for Israel, pointing to what he believes is a disconnect between public perception and on-the-ground support—particularly within certain communities.

Netanyahu suggested that much of the hostility stems from targeted anti-Israel propaganda, which shapes public opinion through repeated messaging, especially on social media platforms and in politically charged environments.

The interview offered a rare glimpse into the Israeli leader's views on global sentiment, media narratives, and the challenge of public diplomacy in the digital age. His appearance on a podcast known for reaching younger, Western audiences may also signal a shift in outreach strategy as Israel continues to navigate international scrutiny amid the ongoing conflict with Hamas.
