Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman has spoken out following a dangerous street takeover that unfolded in front of the Crypto.com Arena over the weekend.

During a Monday news conference, Hochman condemned the incident, which drew large crowds and created hazardous conditions for drivers, pedestrians, and law enforcement. He emphasized that such events pose serious risks to public safety and disrupt the city’s daily life.

Authorities are reviewing footage from the scene to identify participants and organizers. While no fatalities have been reported, officials say the potential for injuries or property damage in such takeovers is extremely high.

Hochman reiterated his office’s commitment to prosecuting those responsible, warning that lawbreakers will face consequences. “This kind of lawlessness will not be tolerated in our city,” he stated.
