Stephen Miller delivered one of his sharpest critiques yet of America’s modern immigration framework, arguing on Fox News that more than six decades of misguided policy have imported the very societal failures that drive mass migration in the first place. Speaking about the consequences of the post-1965 immigration model, Miller warned that the United States is not merely receiving new arrivals — it is inheriting the political dysfunction, economic instability, and cultural breakdown that many migrants are fleeing.

“If these societies all over the world continue to fail,” Miller said, “you have to ask yourself — if you bring those societies into our country, what do we think is going to happen? You’re going to replicate the conditions that they left.” His central point: a nation cannot absorb the problems of collapsing states without inevitably experiencing those same pressures within its own borders.

Miller cited decades of data showing that mass immigration from unstable regions has coincided with higher rates of welfare dependency, increased crime in certain communities, and mounting burdens on schools, hospitals, and public services. He argued that instead of promoting assimilation and national cohesion, U.S. policy since the 1960s has created fragmented parallel societies that strain unity and weaken the country’s cultural foundation.

Supporters of Trump-era reforms say Miller is speaking a truth that Washington refuses to acknowledge. They note that America's immigration model once prioritized integration, shared values, and economic balance — but has since shifted toward volume-based intake that benefits corporate interests, political opportunists, and cartel-driven smuggling networks. The result, they argue, is a system that overwhelms American families while empowering foreign actors.

For many conservatives, Miller’s message resonates because it highlights the stakes of the debate: whether America will remain a nation defined by its own identity, laws, and expectations, or whether it will become a patchwork of imported failures and competing loyalties. His critique underscores the belief that restoring the nation’s strength requires decisive leadership, secure borders, and a return to policies centered on American stability first.

As the immigration crisis continues to dominate national conversation, Miller’s comments reinforce a growing demand among voters for accountability, sovereignty, and the unapologetic reversal of the policies that have reshaped the country for generations.
