Just weeks after being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, former NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire shared a Dvar Torah reflecting on the responsibility to bring the Torah's teachings to others.

Stoudemire, who has undergone a remarkable journey from NBA stardom to an Orthodox Jewish life, spoke about mankind's responsibility to live according to the Torah and to pass its teachings on to others.

The former Phoenix Suns star was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in August, receiving basketball's highest individual honor after a career that included six NBA All-Star selections.

Stoudemire has spoken publicly for years about his Torah learning and Jewish observance. He completed an Orthodox conversion in 2020 after studying Judaism for years, including during his time playing professionally in Israel.

His latest message offers another glimpse into the dramatically different chapter of life the newly minted Hall of Famer has embraced away from the basketball court.
