A Visit to the Cheder

Last week, the Satmar Rebbe Shlit"a made an uplifting visit to Kiryas Yitev Lev, accompanied by his son, the Rav of the kehillah, Shlit"a. The Rebbe first arrived at the local cheder, where the talmidim eagerly awaited him and sang special charuzim in his honor. Following the singing, each talmid had the zechus to pass by the Rebbe individually to receive a bracha.

The Rav's New Residence

The Rebbe then visited the new home of the Rav, who is preparing to officially move into the city in the near future. The Rebbe toured the dirah and expressed his immense satisfaction with the beautiful home, which is being specially outfitted for the Rav in the new Emerald development. The project, spearheaded by R' Yisroel Chaim Berkowitz, is currently nearing completion, with new families getting ready to move into their homes in the coming days.

New Beis Medrash and Seudas Hilula

Continuing his tour, the Rebbe visited the construction site of the new central beis medrash. He closely observed the rapid progress taking place on all fronts, as the building advances toward its scheduled completion in time for Rosh Hashanah 5787. The Rebbe warmly bestowed his bracha upon all those involved in the meleches hakodesh.

Following the site visits, the Rebbe proceeded to his residence in the city, where the tzibbur gathered to give and receive brachos ahead of the Yemei Harachamim Veharatzon. Later that evening, the Rebbe conducted a shulchan hatahor and seudas hilula marking the yoma d'hilula of the Yitev Lev ZT"L, which took place at Beis Medrash Ohr Hachaim.
