"People think I simply take yeshuos from Shamayim and pass them along to those in need. The truth is, I have to work very hard to bring about a yeshua. I invest tremendous kochos into every hazkarah and bakashah that is brought to me. Zechusim are created by doing the ratzon Hashem. I gather these zechusim and store them away for when a Yid is in need of a yeshua.
"Tzaddikim of previous generations, especially in the times of the holy Baal Shem Tov, had the tremendous power to be gozer things for Yidden. But in our generation, I must plead with the Aibershter to send yeshuos based on the kochos I invest in my avodah.
"A Yid must know that two things are required for him to become a kli capable of receiving a yeshua: He must have emunah sheleimah that he will be zocheh to see a yeshua through the power of the tzaddik’s brachah — and he must help the tzaddik gather the necessary zechusim."
