The medical condition of HaGaon Rav Mordechai Auerbach Shlit"a, Rav of Kehillat Abir Yaakov in Tel Aviv, has unfortunately taken a severe turn for the worse.

The Rav had been hospitalized prior to Rosh Hashanah battling pneumonia. Due to recent complications and severe breathing difficulties, he has now been transferred to the intensive care unit at Ichilov Hospital.

Klal Yisroel is urged to daven and tear the heavens for the refuah sheleimah of Rav Mordechai ben Chaya Rivka b'soch shaar cholei Yisroel.

Special tefillos were held at the tziyon of his illustrious father, HaGaon Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach ZT"L. Additionally, talmidim gathered for a special minyan at Chatzos, immediately preceding the Zechor Bris Selichos, to daven for the Rav's complete recovery.
