Joy in Viznitz: This week, the Viznitzer kehillah celebrated the chasunah of a granddaughter of the Viznitzer Rebbe, shlit"a. The kallah is the daughter of the Rebbe's son, Hagaon Hatzaddik Rav Yaakov Mordechai Hager, shlit"a, Av Beis Din of Viznitz in Elad.
The chosson is the son of Harav Pinchas Ernster, shlit"a. He is a grandson of Hagaon Hatzaddik Rav Eliezer Ernster, shlit"a, Rav of Kiryas Maor Chaim in Tzfas, and Hagaon Hatzaddik Rav Chaim Halperin, shlit"a, Rav of Kehillat Divrei Chaim in Golders Green, London.
The simcha was held in the newly inaugurated Heichal Ditza V'Chedva hall, located within the Beis Viznitz building. The new hall was dedicated by Harav Nachman Mendel, shlit"a, l'iluy nishmas his chashuve Rebbetzin, a"h.
Throughout the chasunah, the Viznitzer Rebbe, shlit"a, enthusiastically encouraged the shira v'zimra with great bren. The simcha was especially palpable during the singing of the well-known niggun, "Tamid Shtendig Freilich Zein," during which the Rebbe used the words of the song to allude to the year Tashpaz (5787).
