The White House has extended an official invitation to several prominent Admorim and Rabbanim to attend a special meeting in Washington, D.C. The invitation has prompted ongoing deliberations within various Chassidic courts regarding whether the Gedolei Yisroel will attend in person.

Skver: According to current plans, the Skverer Rebbe will not be traveling to Washington. Instead, he will send his eldest son, Harav Aharon Mendel, to serve as his official representative.

Satmar (Mahari) and Bobov: Serious discussions are currently underway in both courts regarding the possibility of sending a son to represent the Rebbes, rather than the Admorim attending personally.

Satmar (Mahara): During his Friday night tish, the Satmar Rebbe spoke about the difficulty of traveling to such a summit during the exalted days of Chodesh Elul. However, behind the scenes, gabba'im are reportedly working to arrange a private audience between the Rebbe and the President. If successful, this arrangement could pave the way for the Rebbe to personally attend the broader meeting.

Vizhnitz Monsey: The Vizhnitzer Rebbe is currently on a trip to Meron and is not expected to return until Wednesday night. As a result, no final decision has been made yet regarding his potential participation.
