FAR ROCKAWAY — Argentina’s President Javier Milei received an enthusiastic welcome at Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway on Tuesday, where he addressed the yeshiva and was seen dancing with talmidim during his visit.

Milei was presented with the Ohev Yisrael Award, recognizing his support for the Jewish people. The Argentine government confirmed the presentation and said Milei delivered remarks at the yeshiva during his official visit to New York.

Video from the visit shows Milei surrounded by talmidim as he joined in dancing before departing the yeshiva. Footage released by the Argentine president’s office also documented the visit and his reception at the school.

The visit came while Milei was in New York for the United Nations General Assembly.
