A Florida postal worker has been arrested after investigators say hidden cameras caught him stealing from the very packages he was supposed to deliver. Avery Terrill Yarber is accused of opening four separate packages and taking three iPhones and a valuable ring. A U.S. Postal Inspection Service special agent installed two surveillance cameras inside a USPS company truck, one in the driver's area and one in the back. Investigators say the footage shows the thefts happening in both areas of the truck.

Investigators estimate the three phones and the ring are worth a combined $6,597. Yarber now faces a charge of third-degree grand theft and one count of mail theft. These are allegations only, and he is presumed innocent unless a court finds otherwise. Still, the case is a sharp reminder of how much trust people place in the hands that handle their mail.
