Russian freediver Alexey Molchanov has set a new world record after plunging more than 400 feet (122 meters) into the Mediterranean Sea on a single breath.

The record-breaking dive took place on the fourth day of the AIDA Freediving World Championships, where Molchanov showcased his exceptional skill, endurance, and mastery of breath-hold diving.

Molchanov, already one of the sport’s most decorated athletes, added another milestone to his career with this achievement, further solidifying his reputation as the world’s top freediver.
