Jewish farmers across Yehuda and Shomron are raising concerns following reports of more than 20 livestock poisoning incidents over the past year, threatening their animals and livelihoods.
According to Meir Bertler of the Shomer Yosh organization, suspected poisonous substances have repeatedly been discovered in grazing areas and water sources used by livestock. He warned that contaminated food or water can cause animals to become seriously ill or die within a short period.
In a recent incident at the Mitzudat David farm in the Binyamin area, four goats were found dead, prompting a police investigation into suspected deliberate poisoning.
Farmers are calling for stronger enforcement and increased protection against further incidents, warning that toxic substances left in agricultural areas could also pose a danger to people.
The reported incidents have caused financial losses and growing concern among farming families, while responsibility for the suspected poisonings remains under investigation.
