Overhead footage from the Pokrovsk sector shows a Ukrainian unmanned ground robot executing a sharp drifting maneuver on dirt terrain to physically collide with and knock a low-flying Russian FPV drone out of the air. The robot, operated by the 25th Sicheslav Airborne Brigade, was returning from a combat mission when the enemy drone locked onto it and closed in for a strike. Instead of relying solely on electronic countermeasures, the operators first tried evasive moves and then deliberately steered the machine into the path of the incoming FPV. Dust trails kick up as the ground vehicle makes the high-speed turn, followed by visible impact debris as the drone is sent tumbling. This improvised tactic highlights how Ukrainian forces are adapting in an environment saturated with cheap, fast FPV attacks.

The incident underscores the expanding role of ground robots beyond pure logistics and support duties. Units are increasingly pushing these systems into direct defensive and even offensive actions against aerial threats that have become a daily feature of the battlefield. By using speed, agility, and bold operator decisions, the robot neutralized the threat without needing specialized anti-drone equipment in that moment. Similar videos circulating from the front suggest this kind of physical interception is becoming a practical option when electronic warfare is unavailable or ineffective. The successful ram leaves little doubt that unmanned ground platforms are evolving into active combat participants capable of protecting themselves and their missions under intense pressure.
