Crowds gathered in Ashkelon for a special kabbalas kahal with the Yenuka, Rav Shlomo Yehuda Be’eri, ahead of the upcoming Yamim Noraim.

Footage from the gathering shows a large crowd waiting for an opportunity to approach the Rav and receive his bracha for a Shanah Tovah ahead of Rosh Hashanah.

The special reception was held in Ashkelon as Jews prepare for the approaching Yamim Noraim, with participants coming to receive a personal blessing for the new year.

Video published from the scene shows the packed gathering as attendees waited for their opportunity to approach the Rav.

The event was reported by the Haredi news outlet HaPargod, which described it as a special kabbalas kahal for Birchas Shanah Tovah ahead of the Yamim Noraim.
