More than 65,000 Yidden spent Rosh Hashanah in Uman this year, according to estimates released following the conclusion of the massive annual kibbutz.

The figure represents a significantly larger turnout than estimates circulating immediately before Yom Tov, when approximately 50,000 people were expected to spend Rosh Hashanah in the Ukrainian city.

Despite the continuing war in Ukraine, closed civilian airspace and lengthy overland journeys through neighboring countries, tens of thousands made their way from around the world to Uman for Rosh Hashanah.

Ichud Breslov in Uman said more than 65,000 mispallelim ultimately participated in this year's gathering, following extensive preparations involving local authorities and officials responsible for accommodating the enormous influx of visitors.

Footage from the kibbutz captures the enormous scale of the gathering, with large crowds filling the communal areas during Rosh Hashanah.

Ah Blick had reported before Yom Tov that an estimated 50,000 were preparing to spend Rosh Hashanah in Uman. The newly released post-Yom-Tov estimate indicates that the final turnout substantially exceeded that projection.
