The Sanzer Rebbe, shlita, paid a special visit to Hagaon Harav Dov Lando, shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Slabodka and one of the leading gedolei hador, at his home in Bnei Brak on Thursday, October 29, following United Torah Judaism's gains in the recent Knesset elections.

The meeting highlighted the close relationship between the Chassidic and Litvish Torah leadership, as the Rebbe expressed his appreciation to Harav Lando for his efforts on behalf of kavod haTorah and the Chareidi community.

The Sanzer Rebbe traveled from Netanya to Bnei Brak, where he first paid a shiva visit to Hagaon Harav Shimon Galai, shlita, following the petirah of his brother, Harav Mordechai Galai, zt”l.

Following the shiva visit, the Rebbe proceeded to Harav Lando's residence, where the two Torah leaders held a warm discussion concerning the recent developments affecting the Torah community.

During their conversation, the Sanzer Rebbe thanked Harav Lando for his leadership and tireless efforts to strengthen Torah institutions and protect the interests of the Chareidi public.

The meeting came following United Torah Judaism's strong electoral performance, which saw the party gain thousands of votes despite the difficult challenges facing the Chareidi community.

Harav Lando also discussed his upcoming trip to Europe on behalf of Keren Olam HaTorah, an initiative dedicated to strengthening and supporting yeshivos and kollelim.

Ahead of the planned journey, Harav Lando reportedly requested a bracha from the Sanzer Rebbe for the success of the important mission.

The visit reflected the mutual respect and cooperation between leading Chassidic and Litvish rabbonim in their shared efforts to strengthen Torah learning and support mosdos haTorah throughout Eretz Yisrael.
