U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth addressed concerns over reports that Russia may be sharing intelligence with Iran regarding U.S. positions and movements in the Middle East, delivering a confident message that the United States remains fully in control. Speaking amid ongoing U.S.-Israeli operations targeting Iranian assets, Hegseth emphasized that American commanders are meticulously tracking all developments and leveraging the world’s most advanced intelligence capabilities.

Hegseth underscored that President Donald Trump, as commander-in-chief, is acutely aware of all interactions and potential threats, ensuring no U.S. forces are placed in danger. “The U.S. mitigates any such risks as needed and factors everything into operational planning,” he stated, stressing that it is, in fact, Iran that faces heightened exposure. Hegseth made clear that American operations maintain strategic superiority, and any external sharing of intelligence does not compromise U.S. readiness or effectiveness.

In a pointed warning, Hegseth conveyed that the only parties who should be concerned at this moment are Iranians under the false impression that they can evade U.S. military action. His remarks reflect a broader confidence in the Trump Administration’s maximum pressure strategy, which combines advanced intelligence, precision operations, and proactive threat management to maintain deterrence and protect allied interests, including Israel.

By downplaying concerns over Russian-Iranian intelligence cooperation, Hegseth reassured the public and military partners that operational security remains robust. The message reinforces the administration’s position that the United States not only monitors adversaries closely but also retains the initiative in ongoing regional operations, ensuring that strategic decisions remain under American control.
