Large crowds of Yidden gathered at Kever Rochel in Beis Lechem to mark the yahrtzeit of Rochel Imeinu on 11 Cheshvan, with organizers estimating that hundreds of thousands of visitors came to daven over the course of the annual observance.

Mispallelim from across Eretz Yisrael traveled to the kever during the main gatherings on October 21 and 22, filling the site with tefillos and the recitation of Tehillim.

Photographs from the gathering showed the interior of Kever Rochel packed with visitors, while additional crowds made their way through the surrounding access routes.

Special transportation and security arrangements were implemented to accommodate the large turnout. Shuttle buses operated from Teddy Stadium, and designated pedestrian routes helped visitors reach the kever.

Local reports also described a special tefillah gathering accompanied by the sounding of numerous shofaros.

While organizers estimated that attendance reached hundreds of thousands over the observance, a separate report citing security authorities placed the number of visitors at more than 44,000. The differing figures have not been independently reconciled.

The annual yahrtzeit of Rochel Imeinu remains a significant occasion for Klal Yisrael, drawing Yidden who come to daven at the kever and seek rachamim for themselves, their families, and all of Klal Yisrael.
