Lockheed Martin has revealed its latest innovation in military aviation—the Vectis, a stealth drone designed to carry out high-risk missions without a pilot.

Unlike traditional drones, the Vectis is larger than missile-style UAVs but smaller than a conventional fighter jet, striking a balance between agility and endurance. Its unmanned design allows it to perform dangerous operations while eliminating risks to pilots.

Lockheed Martin also emphasized cost efficiency, noting that the Vectis will be significantly less expensive than other stealth aircraft currently in service. With its sleek profile and cutting-edge stealth technology, the drone is expected to mark a major step forward in next-generation air combat.

While the company has not disclosed full specifications, defense analysts say the Vectis could change how militaries approach contested airspace operations—particularly in scenarios too dangerous for manned aircraft.
