DEADLY STRIKE AT SEA: U.S. Military Kills Five On Alleged Drug Boat

On October 27, U.S. Southern Command says, Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a go-fast vessel in the Eastern Pacific, killing five people on board. SOUTHCOM claims confirmed intelligence linked the boat to narco-trafficking and says it was moving along established smuggling routes. The command described the five dead as "narco-terrorists," a label that comes from the U.S. military itself.
