A warm scene was documented in Yerushalayim following the conclusion of the fast, as hot soup was distributed at the historic Beis HaTanya shul in the Meah Shearim neighborhood.

Footage shared by Yankele Kornblit shows R' Hershel Chanon serving bowls of soup to those gathered at the shul on Motzaei Tzom.

R' Hershel is closely associated with Beis HaTanya and has been identified in published accounts as the shul's longtime gabbai. The location has also previously been described as providing free meals to people in need.

The simple Motzaei Tzom scene offered a glimpse of the everyday chesed found in the heart of Yerushalayim's Meah Shearim neighborhood.
