An Uplifting Shabbos and Week of Milestones at Camp Ohel Boruch Krasna
Camp Ohel Boruch Krasna experienced a truly uplifting Shabbos this past week, as the talmidim were zoche to host the Rav and Rosh Mesivta Shlit"a, who joined the camp for his annual Shabbos visit. The highlight of Friday night was a beautiful botte that lasted into the late hours of the night, accompanied by warm divrei Torah from the Rav.
During his Pirkei Avos shiur, the Rav delivered powerful divrei chizuk, mussar, and hisorerus. He spoke passionately about the approaching Yemei Harachamim V'haselichos and expressed his deep emotion over the talmidim's warm tefillos and their remarkable hakpadah in kavod beis medrash. The gehoibene Shabbos left the boys with an abundance of chizuk to carry with them.
Throughout the week, the camp also marked several other notable events and visits from prominent Rabbanim. A special mesibas l'chaim and siyum were held in honor of the yahrzeit of the Yetev Lev ZT"L in the 7th-grade class of their chashuve melamed, Rabbi Avrohom Yitzchok Segelbaum Shlit"a. The talmidim were privileged to hear from the Sendro Rav Shlit"a, who spoke at length about the great kedusha of the baal hilula.
In addition, the Lusk Rav Shlit"a visited the camp to farher the 6th-grade talmidim of Rabbi Mordechai Tzvi Kirschner Shlit"a. The Rav expressed his tremendous hispaalus at the boys' impressive yedios and how thoroughly they knew their limudim.
Meanwhile, the 8th-grade class, led by their melamed Rabbi Meir Rosenberg Shlit"a, began a massive chazarah on the sugya of Rabi Chanina Segan Hakohanim. To mark the start of this undertaking, the talmidim were zoche to hear warm divrei brachah and chizuk from Hagaon Harav Meir Zweibel Shlit"a, author of Ner Hameir.
