An emotional video shared this week captures the writing of a new Sefer Torah in memory of a young child named Motty, whose short life came to an end at just 18 months old.

The footage shows the kesivas haSefer Torah taking place as those present remember the young neshama and seek to create a lasting zechus in his memory.

In sharing the video, Hershy Weinberger described the tremendous pain surrounding the loss of a child and expressed the hope that the new Sefer Torah should serve as a zechus for Motty's neshama and bring nechama to his family.
