Historic Chanukas Habayis Held for New RCCS Building in Yerushalayim

Last Thursday, Parshas Nitzavim-Vayelech, a historic and uplifting Chanukas Habayis was held for the beautiful new RCCS (Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society) building in the heart of Yerushalayim. The maamad was graced by the presence of dozens of Gedolei Yisroel and Tzaddikei Hador Shlit"a, who came to offer chizuk to the hanhalah, askanim, and nedavnim of the vital mosad.

Several prominent American negidim who partnered in the building project traveled to Eretz Yisroel specifically for the occasion. Among them was the building's primary patron, Harav Hanagid R' Beri Weiss, who, together with his brother-in-law Hanagid R' Ari Weiss, dedicated the new headquarters, which has been proudly named the "Binyan Mishpachas Weiss."

Throughout the three-hour maamad, it was an extraordinary sight to witness a continuous stream of Gedolei Hador arriving to grace the dais. The Rabbanim came to express their profound hakaras hatov to the mosad and its dedicated supporters, as they are intimately aware of the lifesaving work RCCS does for their own chassidim, talmidim, and kehillah members. Despite the busy time of year just before the Yemei Haselichos, the Gedolim dedicated their precious time to show their appreciation to the hanhalah, led by the founder and chairman, Harav R' Hershel Kahn Shlit"a.

The event concluded with spirited dancing and warm brachos from the Gedolei Yisroel, who offered heartfelt tefillos that the mosad should continue to see hatzlachah and siyata dishmaya, and that all cholei Yisroel should merit a refuah sheleimah and a yeshuah bekarov.
