A terrifying scene unfolded at Boston Logan International Airport when a Swiss International Air Lines flight bound for Zurich was forced to abort takeoff after flames erupted from one of its engines.

Footage of SWISS Flight 55 shows the aircraft racing down the runway before fire and smoke burst from its right wing. The pilots quickly brought the plane to a halt as emergency crews rushed to the scene.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) briefly paused arrivals at Logan during the response and confirmed that it has launched an investigation into the incident.

Despite the frightening moment, officials confirmed that no injuries were reported among passengers or crew.
