A special gathering took place as the Rebbe received the hanhalah and prominent Rabbanim of the Kollel in Eretz Yisroel. Among the distinguished delegation were HaGaon Rav Naftali Nussbaum, Rosh Yeshiva of Chayei Moshe; HaGaon Rav Aharon Goldminzer, Skverer Dayan of Yerushalayim; HaRav Shimon Shmuel Halberstam, Av Beis Din of Sanz-Tchakov and Rosh Kollel Toldos Elazar; HaGaon Rav Yitzchok Leib Schreiber-Sofer, Rosh Yeshiva of Orchos HaTorah; Rav Shmuel Halberstam of Tchakov; Harav Betzalel Bernstein; Rav Reuven Breish; and the Menahel of the Kollel in Eretz Yisroel, Harav Shlomo Fruchthandler.


During the visit, the Rebbe was presented with the historical Ksav Nesi'us by the hanhalah. The Rebbe listened intently as the Menahel of the Kollel delivered a comprehensive report on the organization's widespread chesed operations, after which the Rebbe contributed a generous nedavah to support their vital work.


There were moments of visible emotion as the Rebbe reviewed historical kisvei kodesh from the archives of the Kollel's headquarters in Eretz Yisroel, featuring the handwriting of Tzaddikim from previous generations. The hanhalah then honored the Rebbe with the special zechus of adding his holy signature to the Kollel's historical dedication ledger—a sefer that contains the signatures and brachos of Gedolei Yisroel throughout the generations, led by the Shinova Rav, zy"a.


The gathering was also highlighted by vibrant Torah discussions. The Rebbe engaged in a pilpul with HaGaon Rav Naftali Nussbaum and warmly blessed HaGaon Rav Yitzchok Leib Schreiber-Sofer. The Rebbe and the Rabbanim then spoke at length about the immense kedushah and historical significance of supporting Tzidkas Rabbi Meir Baal Haness, a sacred tradition upheld by Klal Yisroel throughout the generations.
