Here is a brief overview of the schedule and agenda surrounding today's historic visit of several Admorim to the White House:

The Schedule

The Rebbes will depart for Washington from their respective homes, accompanied only by their close gabbaim and askanim.

The historic visit will officially begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Executive Office Building on the White House grounds.

At 1:00 p.m., the delegation will move to the Roosevelt Room in the West Wing for a meeting with administration officials. Only one attendant will be permitted to accompany each Rebbe into this room.

At 2:00 p.m., the Rebbes will hold a joint meeting with President Trump. No attendants or gabbaim will be allowed into this meeting.

Extensive shtadlanus is currently being made by askanim on behalf of the Satmar Rebbe (Mahra) Shlit"a to secure an exclusive, private 7-minute meeting for the Rebbe with the President before the main session, in order to advocate for the klal and the prat.

The visit will conclude with official historic photos taken at the President's desk.

On the Agenda

Religious Independence: The delegation plans to demand full religious autonomy for Mosdos Hatorah and express clear opposition to government interference in limudei chol.

The Draft Crisis: A special effort—particularly pushed by the Satmar Rebbes—will be made to raise the issue of the severe crisis and persecution currently facing bnei yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel.

Behind the Scenes

There is still some uncertainty regarding whether the Skverer Rebbe will attend in person—despite heavy pressure from other Admorim and askanim—or if he will send his son, Harav Aharon Mendel, in his place.

Speculation suggests that Republican Congressman Mike Lawler played a role in arranging the meeting as a way to draw Chareidi votes for his highly competitive congressional race.

Meanwhile, some White House sources have previously hinted that the gathering may ultimately serve as a purely ceremonial meeting.
