A Remarkable Miracle: Vizhnitzer Mashbak Saved from Exploding Phone in the Zechus of a Kabbalah Tovah

Rav Chaim Zelig Kornitzer, the devoted Mashbak of the Vizhnitzer Rebbe, experienced a remarkable story of hashgacha pratis last Erev Shabbos while visiting New York on behalf of the Vizhnitzer mosdos.

Recently, after noticing how often people receive phone calls and are distracted by their devices during davening, the Mashbak decided to take upon himself a kabbalah tovah as a zechus for a refuah sheleimah for the Rebbe. He resolved to completely put his phone away on the side while he davens.

He strictly upheld this commitment last Friday morning. Right in the middle of davening, a loud explosion suddenly echoed through the room. When people went to investigate the source of the blast, they were shocked to discover that Rav Kornitzer’s cell phone had spontaneously exploded.
