A spirited scene unfolded near the Kosel on Motzei Yom Kippur, as a group of mispallelim joined together in song and dance following the conclusion of the holy day.

Footage from Yerushalayim shows participants dancing together after a full day of fasting and tefillah, marking the transition from the solemn atmosphere of Yom Kippur to Motzei Yom Kippur.

The scene came as large numbers of mispallelim gathered at the Kosel over the Yom Kippur period. The Kosel had also drawn enormous crowds during the preceding days of Selichos, with the Western Wall Heritage Foundation reporting approximately two million visits during Elul and the Aseres Yemei Teshuvah.

The Motzei Yom Kippur footage captures the singing and dancing continuing in Yerushalayim following the conclusion of the fast.
