The Amshinov Chassidus is mourning the petirah of Mrs. Chaya Leah Milikovsky A"H, daughter-in-law of the Amshinover Rebbe, who was nifteres on Monday evening, October 26, at the age of 34 following a prolonged illness.
Mrs. Milikovsky was the wife of Rabbi Moshe Milikovsky, a son and close assistant of the Amshinover Rebbe. She leaves behind eight young children, the oldest reportedly just 13 years old.
A resident of Beitar Illit, Mrs. Milikovsky was the daughter of Reb Yisroel Dov Ben Shem and Mrs. Feiga Riva.
In addition to her devotion to her family, she was involved in chinuch and was remembered for her dedication to her children and the values of Torah and Yiddishkeit.
According to Chareidi media reports, she had been battling a serious illness for several years. Her petirah brought profound sadness to her family and the wider Amshinov community.
The levayah took place during the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 27, beginning at approximately 2:00 a.m. at the Amshinov beis medrash on Darchei Ish Street in Beitar Illit.
The levayah continued to the Chassidus's main beis medrash in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood of Yerushalayim, before kevurah at Har HaMenuchos.
Hundreds of Chassidim, relatives, and members of the community reportedly participated in accompanying the nifteres on her final journey.
The petirah is an especially painful loss for her young family and the Amshinov Chassidus.
Yehi zichrah baruch. May the family find nechamah among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.
