The Rockland County District Attorney’s Office has partnered with the local People to People organization to help children across the county prepare for the upcoming school year.

Staff members at the DA’s office pooled their own personal funds to purchase and donate a large number of backpacks and essential school supplies. The donated items include knapsacks, notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, and other everyday classroom necessities.

The initiative is aimed at ensuring that every child has exactly what they need as they head back to school. By providing these supplies, the DA's office hopes to alleviate some of the financial burden families face when shopping for the new zman, allowing students to start the new school year fully equipped and ready to learn.
