President Donald Trump blasted Iran for continuing to discuss uranium enrichment following past military and economic pressure, calling the move reckless and “stupid.”

“Iran was beaten up very badly ... but they still talk about enrichment. I mean, who would do that? You just come out of something that's so bad and they talk about, 'We want to continue enrichment.' Who would say that? How stupid can you be to say that?”

Trump’s remarks come amid renewed tensions between Washington and Tehran, as Iran signals it will advance its nuclear ambitions despite prior setbacks.

The president has repeatedly criticized the former Biden administration’s Iran policy, insisting that only maximum pressure and strength can stop the regime from pursuing a nuclear bomb.
