Rockland County Hatzoloh Expands Fleet with Two New Ambulances

Rockland County Hatzoloh took delivery of two brand-new ambulances today, part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to maintain a modern, reliable fleet ready to save lives.

Hatzoloh plans, IY"H, to have both ambulances fully operational and ready to transport patients before Rosh Hashanah. Before hitting the streets, the vehicles will be outfitted with the familiar Hatzoloh decals and fully stocked with all necessary medical equipment, ensuring they are prepared for any emergency.

With volunteers responding to approximately 20,000 calls a year across Rockland County and the surrounding areas, having dependable vehicles is an absolute necessity. The ambulances are in constant use 24 hours a day, responding to critical emergencies and transporting patients to local hospitals.

To keep up with the growing needs of the tzibur, Hatzoloh leadership is constantly looking ahead. The organization continuously monitors the condition of its fleet, rotating out older vehicles and replacing them with newer models. This proactive approach ensures that every neighborhood has adequate coverage and that the community receives the highest standard of care.

The addition of these two new ambulances marks another vital step in allowing Hatzoloh to continue its avodas hakodesh, ensuring they remain fully equipped to serve the community now and in the years to come.

Hatzoloh expressed a heartfelt Yashar Koach to Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht and the entire Town Board for their unwavering support. Their assistance played a crucial role in making the purchase of these two new ambulances a reality.
