Law enforcement officials and local leaders from across the Catskills region gathered during Sukkos at the Upstate home of community leader Rabbi Abe Friedman.

Abe Rosenberg of the Jewish Community Council of Sullivan County joined Friedman in welcoming the officials.

Those attending included representatives of law enforcement and local government from Sullivan and Orange counties, as well as members of the New York State Police.

The gathering brought together officials who regularly work with Jewish community representatives on public safety and other community needs throughout the Catskills region.

Among the attendees were Sullivan County Sheriff Michael Schiff, Orange County Sheriff Paul Arteta, Sullivan County District Attorney Brian Conaty, Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler, and Monticello Police Chief David Lindsay.
