The Israel Defense Forces released new footage showing tunnel routes beneath the Ali al-Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon that were located, mapped, and dismantled after months of operations. The video includes remarks from Commando Brigade Commander COL M., who spoke from inside one of the passages and described it as strategic Hezbollah infrastructure. According to the IDF, forces spent roughly six months locating, investigating, mapping, and destroying the network across the Beaufort and Ali al-Taher ridges. The release offers a rare on-the-ground look at the scale of the underground system that had been built in the area.

The operation highlights the sustained effort required to identify and neutralize hidden infrastructure in complex terrain. By documenting both the interior of the tunnels and the methodical process that led to their destruction, the IDF is presenting evidence of a significant blow to Hezbollah’s operational capabilities in the region.
