Tzvi Sukkot Removes Memorials Honoring Killers of Israelis in Samaria
Israeli activist Tzvi Sukkot personally removed memorials in Samaria that the supplied report says were erected in memory of terrorists responsible for killing Israelis in the villages of Duma and Burin.
According to Arutz 7, Sukkot had previously demanded that the IDF take action to remove the memorials. When that request was not carried out, he went to the locations himself and dismantled them.
Video accompanying the report shows Sukkot using a tool to strike and remove part of one of the memorial displays. The footage documents the unusual act as Sukkot takes matters into his own hands following what the report describes as the IDF's failure to fulfill his demand.
This act is not in support of the Gedolei Hador, and such actions run contrary to the principle of התגרות באומות (hisgarus ba’umos).
