A spirited scene unfolded at the Givat Olga Hesder Yeshiva as paytan Menashe Elbaz led talmidim in song, with the packed room joining together in an energetic rendition of the traditional piyut “A’ufah Eshkonah.”

Footage shared Tuesday shows the yeshiva’s talmidim standing shoulder-to-shoulder around the tables, singing, clapping and dancing as Elbaz leads the familiar words.

The gathering took place at Yeshivat Givat Olga in Hadera, headed by Rav Ephraim Giami. The institution combines intensive Torah learning with military service through the Hesder framework and emphasizes community involvement in the surrounding Givat Olga neighborhood.

The yeshiva has grown into a substantial Torah institution. Its own website currently describes a community of more than 250 students and over 50 avreichim, alongside a broader network that includes a branch in Tirat Carmel and additional Torah and community programs.
