The Israel Defense Forces released footage showing troops from the 91st Division locating and destroying what it identified as a Hezbollah anti-tank missile launcher concealed beneath dense bushes in southern Lebanon. The video reportedly captured the full sequence of the operation, including aerial surveillance, target acquisition, precision engagement, and a large secondary explosion as the launcher was destroyed.

According to the military, the strike formed part of ongoing ground operations aimed at degrading Hezbollah’s operational capabilities along the northern front. Israeli officials said the 91st Division eliminated more than 35 militants and dismantled multiple weapons positions and military infrastructure over the past week as forces continued efforts to reduce threats emerging from southern Lebanon.

The operation comes amid continued concern over anti-tank missile attacks launched by Hezbollah against Israeli positions north of the Litani River. Supporters of Israel’s security strategy argue that targeted actions against concealed launch sites are necessary to prevent cross-border attacks, maintain deterrence, and reinforce long-term security along Israel’s northern border.
