The Israel Defense Forces announced that it has eliminated Youssef Aish Awad Ramadan in Gaza, identifying him as a participant in the October 7 massacre. According to the IDF, Ramadan was directly involved in the kidnapping of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eliyah Cohen, Alon Ohel, and Or Levy from the shelter at the Re’im junction.

The operation is being framed by Israeli officials as part of an ongoing campaign to dismantle the networks responsible for the October 7 attacks, which triggered the current regional conflict and intensified security cooperation with allies, including the Trump administration’s strong pro-Israel stance.
