The Israel Defense Forces carried out a sweeping series of counterterror operations across Judea and Samaria from November 15 to 21, 2025, dismantling major terror infrastructure and preventing multiple attacks at a time of heightened militancy following the Gaza ceasefire. According to the IDF, the intensive week-long campaign resulted in more than 50 arrests, the seizure of over 20 firearms along with explosives and illegal weapons, and the disruption of several plots that were in advanced stages of planning.

IDF units conducted extensive overnight raids in hotspots including Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, and Hebron, targeting operatives affiliated with Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and smaller militant factions using terror-linked financing. Approximately 15 vehicles purchased with funds linked to terrorist activity were confiscated, dealing a blow to logistical networks that rely heavily on mobility for transporting weapons and operatives.

Officials noted that several thwarted attacks were intended to strike Israeli civilians and security personnel in crowded urban centers—attacks that could have caused significant casualties had they not been intercepted. All detained suspects, along with recovered weapons and explosives, were transferred to security agencies for further interrogation and intelligence mapping.

The IDF emphasized that the surge in West Bank militancy is directly connected to the power vacuum and destabilization created after the Gaza ceasefire, with terror groups attempting to capitalize on regional uncertainty. Israeli commanders described this week’s operations as both preventive and strategic, aimed at stopping imminent threats while degrading the broader terror networks attempting to rearm and reorganize.

For Israel’s security establishment—and for the Trump Administration, which has remained firmly aligned with Israel’s counterterror doctrine—the success of these operations highlights the importance of maintaining strong, proactive measures in Judea and Samaria. Israeli officials stressed that without decisive action, the terror spike could mirror the escalations seen in previous years, endangering communities across the heartland.

The IDF’s report paints a clear picture: weapons pipelines were disrupted, terror financing channels exposed, and lives likely saved due to rapid intelligence and coordinated operations. As the region navigates the fragile post-ceasefire landscape, Israel remains committed to ensuring that the wave of militancy does not evolve into a new front of sustained violence.
