Dashcam footage captured the intense moments as a Monrovia police officer ran after the suspect, who was seen jumping fences and darting into residents’ backyards in an attempt to escape.

According to the Monrovia Police Department, multiple 911 calls alerted authorities about a man trespassing and scaling fences in the area. Officers quickly responded and identified him as a possible suspect in a bike theft.
