ATM Stolen in Early-Morning Smash-and-Grab at Southwest Side Gas Station Thieves targeted a Shell gas station in Chicago’s McKinley Park neighborhood early Saturday, smashing their way into the business and stealing an ATM, according to Chicago police. The incident happened aroun 5:17 a.m. in the 3500 block of South Damen Avenue. Police said five suspects were involved in the theft, which left significant damage to the storefront, including a shattered front glass door. A damaged vehicle was also found at the scene.
