Australian authorities have charged four men following a large-scale police raid on an estimated $10 million cannabis cultivation operation in rural Victoria, with one suspect still at large.

Law enforcement officers uncovered approximately 4,700 cannabis plants spread across 10 separate grow houses during the operation. Police allege the sophisticated setup, consisting of multiple white greenhouse structures, was capable of producing significant quantities of the drug for distribution.

Drone footage released by investigators shows five individuals running across open fields toward nearby bushland as officers in high-visibility gear moved in to secure the property. Four foreign nationals were arrested at the scene, while a fifth man evaded capture. Authorities said those taken into custody have so far refused to provide information about the fugitive.

Investigators are examining potential links to organized crime, citing the scale of the cultivation network and the infrastructure required to maintain it. Such operations often involve coordinated labor, controlled irrigation systems, and security measures designed to avoid detection.

The seized plants will be destroyed, and the accused men are expected to face drug cultivation and trafficking-related charges under Australian law. Police continue to search for the remaining suspect and are appealing to the public for information.
