At home, Israel is facing a wave of protests from families of hostages still held by Hamas. Demonstrators blocked major highways nationwide, demanding the government secure the release of their loved ones.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum, representing the relatives of those abducted on October 7, 2023, declared a “national day of struggle,” beginning at 6:29 a.m.—the exact time Hamas launched its attack two years ago.
